MORAL DECAY

Without holiness no man can see the Lord the Holy Scriptures declare

(2Timothy 2:19) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ departs from iniquity

(John 9:3) Man was created in the *image* and *likeness* of God until sin came to Marr that glorious image of God which is a spiritual death.

Death means separation from God. When Man broke the commandment of God, he dis -fellowshipped from God’s presence. Sin has brought death to the whole World and the entire human race.

In the Old Testament iniquity is visited upon children and until the fourth generation.

(Exodus 20:5) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

For the Sin committed at the garden of Eden, didn’t only affect a fourth generation but the whole human race.

It required that something be made to redeem man from sin. The fig leaves used by Adam and Eve to cover their nakedness, couldn’t take away their Sin. It takes God’s own blood through our Lord Jesus Christ to take away this Sin.

But did you ever stop to think what it cost to have it? Did you ever realize just the price that’s behind it; what judgment was and what the penalty of sin was? How cruel must sin be, when it caused the Son of God to go to Calvary, and God would strike Him, and turn His face from Him, and smite Him, and He would be afflicted.

The nature of God is Holiness.

(Isaiah 6:2-3) Above it stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.  And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

(1 Peter 1:16) Because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy.

Today many false teachings are being propagated leading men to continue with their sinful lives. One of such doctrines is, once you become a Christian, it doesn’t matter what you do.

Apostle Paul gave this rebuke:

(Romans 6:1-2) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?   God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Many who are ignorant follow this belief and are wallowing in sin, claiming they are still saved.

This last church age has seen a lot of women in the religious mainstream wearing garments that never portrayed any inner beauty in them but displaying of indecency such as women trousers (Duet 22:5), miniskirts and some other jewelries’ just to mention a few. (Isaiah 3:16-26).

William Braham the prophet of God, forewarned this generation of a moral decay where morality has been relegated to nothing. We have seen the insanity on the streets today where women are almost naked on the streets, invading of lesbianism and gayism and how so many countries are being forced to imbibe into it. The Bible foretold it earlier.

(Luke 17:26-30) And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.  Likewise, also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.  Even thus shall it be in the day when the son of man is revealed.

These are examples to us to know that the Lord will not spare if we fall short of it. God never spared the angels and how much less humans.

(2 Peter  2:4-7) For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;  And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked

 *God’s Provision*

God has made a provision for us through His Son our Lord Jesus Christ and the blood of His covenant. In these days of the last church age, there is a message on the land, pointing us to the Son (Christ Jesus) which is the light of God’s word, only in that can we resist the pressures of sin.

(Hebrews 3:15) While it is said, today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. *

(Hebrews 10:14) For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.

(Hebrews10:17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

(Hebrews10:18) Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Shalom!

JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER

At the turn of this age, God vindicated a man of God by name WILLIAM MARRION BRANHAM with a ministry likened to an Old Testament Prophet.

He echoed a Shout message, urging all who wish to be in the rapture to align themselves with the Word as recorded in Mathew 25:1-13

A very popular bible verse that he used in most of his sermons was (Hebrews 13:8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.

For a long time, I used to be confused as to who was the one who ‘walked in the garden of Eden’, ‘gave the ten commandments’, and who ‘dwelt in the tabernacle’. Was it God the Father? Or was it Jesus Christ? I came to an understanding that it was in fact Lord Jehovah who spoke and appeared on earth as the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now many Trinitarians believe that because it was Jesus who appeared in the Old Testament, and that He bore the name the LORD (Jehovah), as for example, when He appeared to Abraham in Genesis 18, then they take this to mean that Christ Himself is the one true God (Elohim). But there is a problem to believe that way.

The Bible and Spirit of Prophecy says that no man has ever seen God or can see God (Elohim) and live

In (1Tim 6:16) the scriptures talk about God, who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see to whom be honour and power everlasting. Other scriptures also attest of the same point.

(1John 4:12) No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us

(John1:18) No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

So straight away we have a problem if we believe that Jesus is the one true God. Because if we cannot be in the presence of the Father’s person, or behold God face to face, then how is it that a number of Old Testament people, like Abraham, Jacob and Moses have seen the LORD (Jehovah) face to face and lived? This is a clear contradiction. Yes, a contradiction only if you believe that Jesus is the one true God

So how can we reconcile the fact that Jesus the Son of God is the one who appeared to the people in the Old Testament and was called the LORD (Jehovah) (Genesis 18). Isn’t that name solely reserved for the one true God, the Father? The holy scriptures have the answer for scripture, interprets scripture

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

The scriptures reveal that Christ has been given a name that is above every other name. What name is that? Think about this. What name does a child receive on earth? A child receives the name of their father, right? Just like I have a son and he bare my name. Does this apply to Christ?

(John 5:43) I am come in my father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.’

(John 10:25) Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.’

(Hebrews 1:4) Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.’

Jehovah is the name given to Christ. (Isaiah 12:2)

Behold, God is my salvation, writes the prophet Isaiah; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation.

God bless you for reading.
