Can there be two persons sitting on the Throne in Revelation 5:7?

In the book of (Rev 4:1): After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

In the above, After this would have been when the Bride of Christ had been redeemed throughout the 7 church ages as in Rev 2 and 3.

We read that a door was opened in heaven. The Lord Jesus can only be the door in heaven since by him comes Eternal life. Eternal life is the only passport to heaven. Human beings populated this world by partaking of the Tree of knowledge of good and evil and thus death reigned from one generation to the other. Therefore Eternal Life cannot be passed on from parents unto children. If heaven is a Spiritual realm then Jesus Christ is the door to heaven. The Lord Jesus said in (John 14:6) I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In (Rev 1:1) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John

In (Rev 1:8) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. (Hebrews 13:8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

(Rev 4:8) And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

The Lord Jesus was the son of Man who physically saved the world at Calvary. He is the Son of God who Supernaturally is bringing to pass endtime events for the Jews and the Gentiles when the wedding feast is on in heaven and the tribulation has started down on the earth. He will come as the Son of David when he rules on earth during the 1000 years of the millennium.

(Rev 5:1) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

What is this book in the right hand of him that sat on the throne? It cannot be any other book than the Title deed, book of redemption or the Book of Life which Adam lost when he forfeited it in the garden of Eden by obeying Eve his wife. Adam was to rule the world but he lost that dominion. So it went back to the original creator, God.

(Rev 5:2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

For someone to claim the title deed it would have to come through an Innocent blood. No one was ever worthy to claim it. Name all the mighty religious ones who walked on this earth; Allah, Buddha, Muhammed, Krishna, Confucius Karl max, the Popes, the Arabs, the Palestinians, atheist, doers of good deeds, mighty military men, powerful politicians. What was their credentials? Could they lay claim of the earth? No!

(Rev 5:3) And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon

Absolutely no one to even look upon the book. Not the great Prophet Moses. Not even Saint Peter Paul or William Marrion Branham who a lot have idolized in our day. No human being can even open the book and much less lay any claim of it. It takes only the blood of the lamb to destroy sin.

(Rev 5:4) And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon

John wept because the scenario looked pathetic and hopeless. The whole creation seemed lost! There was no one who could stand in the gap to pay for the awful price which God demanded as the atonement for sin of the world.

So here we see as the standard required of God is high so he requires believers in him to exhibit high standards in his worship and service and not any wishy washy Christianity .

(Rev 5:5) And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

A lion is the King of the beasts.

In (Luke 3:23- 33) Jesus is the greatest King that descended from the root of King David. The great King is the mighty Lion who conquered sin. Sin had been our greatest enemy. Sin produced death and both physical and spiritual suffering.

(Rev 5:6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

John who was looking on a Lion suddenly changed to a Lamb! Mysterious.

(Rev 5:7) And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

As a Lion, this depicts the personification of Jesus performing the task of God the Father who created the world. He then sees a Lamb, a personification of Jesus doing the work as a Saviour of the world. Can the mighty and dangerous Lion be a humble and weak lamb?

(John 1:29) The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. The king, the Lion of Juda conquered Satan at Calvary. King Jesus, the Lion won the greatest victory when he died at Calvary as a Sacrificial Lamb.

(Romans 5:10) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

So where was God when the son of God Jesus died to reconcile us to God? (2 Corinthians 5:19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation

God in the form of the Supernatural Spirit was in the body of his son Jesus Christ Who was a human man. Jehovah God became a Man by dwelling inside the human body of Jesus Christ. It was only the man Jesus who was able to fuse Man and God in one person.

(John 3:13) And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Someone would ask; where was God when Jesus walked on Earth? The Supernatural Spirit of God that was in him was also in heaven. For God is omnipresent.

(Colossian 2:9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

In all this we can see the creator died to save his creation. Can God die? (James 2:26) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Death is when the spirit leaves the body. Therefore the Supernatural Spirit indwelling Christ, left his body as he died. This Spirit went down to hell to take the keys of death from the devil as his body was lying in the tomb.(1Peter 3:19-20) By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

(Rev 5:6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Can there be two persons sitting on the throne? God the creator and Jesus the Redeemer standing beside the throne? No! Same Person. (Isaiah 43:11), I even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no Saviour. John the revelator actually saw the Lamb in middle of the throne. What does this mean? Same Jesus is both creator as well as a redeemer

(Rev 5:7) And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

How then did the Lamb travel through time to take the book out of the hand of him that sat on the throne?

Spirits are not bound by time. He first travelled in the Spirit all the way back in time to the very beginning to check salvation plan. Then when was satisfied with all he then travelled back through time to take the Book. During all these processes of time he never left the throne.
