THE GOSPEL BITE

DIVINE LOVE PROCEEDS FROM THE DIVINE TRUTH …PART 1

Such are the ‘believers’ who talk about the Bible when their lives are diametrically opposed to the teachings of Christ. Of what good is the truth to you when you claim to have the truth but do not live the life of the gospel thereof ;

Divine Love is as a result of Divine Truth.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. ( John 8:32)

The bible clarifies that, it is the Truth that sets free.

The issue of love and truth has become so important that without divine love yielding out from truth, any claim on perfection is questionable. Divine love as seen in the stature of a PERFECT MAN, plays a very important role in a believer’s quest for perfection before the Rapture. How could a believer send a message of salvation to an unbeliever without speaking truth in love? In a natural sense, “LOVERS LOVE TRUTH” .

There is absolute truth in the statement that when a person believes right, he will live right. The Bible not only teaches doctrines but also shows the pathway to a godly life. What good does it do to a believer if he knows all the true doctrines but is not living a Christ-like life? Would it do him any good if he continues to lie, to cheat and to hate others? What about a believing woman who prefers to cut her hair, wear clothes unbecoming of a Christian lady or wear high-heeled shoes and mince her feet like the women of the world (Isaiah 3:16)?

Such are the ‘believers’ who talk about the Bible when their lives are diametrically opposed to the teachings of Christ. Of what good is the truth to you when you claim to have the truth but do not live the life of the gospel thereof ;

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates (2 Corinthians 13:5-6)

With a true revelation of the Word, a believer will have a proper understanding of doctrines and live a Christ-like life. On the other hand, there are some who would rather have the right spirit than the right doctrines. Misquoting the prophet messenger William Marrion Branham, wrongly believing that doctrines do not matter and thinking one can have a right spirit without the truth (doctrines) is a wrong exegesis.   These are other people also who simply disregard doctrines whether right or wrong. How can one have the right spirit without the right doctrines since the Holy Spirit always leads His children back to His Word and to the Truth? The holy Spirit is a spirit of TRUTH.

RECEIVE THE OIL AND WALK STEADFASTLY IN THE TRUTH. NEVER QUENCH THE SPIRIT.

Keep the fire burning.

A 20TH CENTURY PROPHET.

WHAT ARE YOUR PERSPECTIVES OF HIM?

The Old Testament is made up of what is known as; THE LAW- Pentateuch, THE PROPHETS – Nevi’im and THE WRITINGS.

So basically the PROPHETS were God’s mouthpiece to his people. In the Old Testament, children of Israel revered their prophets because they bring messages from God to them. But if these prophets did not speak accordingly, in responds to the Urim Thummim that determines God’s will in a particular situation which is carried on the breastplate of the high priest, perhaps two sticks or stones one white and the other black giving a yes or no answer to a specific question. That fellow is regarded as a false prophet and he is stoned to death as such.

And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually (Exodus 28:30)

So how do we judge a true prophet of God in the 20th century? What is the Urim Thummim in our day?

Do we have Prophets of such caliber in the New Testament era for that matter this 20th century? Well this is a personal discretion.

Now Several prophets are mentioned in the New Testament.  Zechariah, the priest was one such, said to have perished “between the altar and the sanctuary” (Luke account). His death is included in the Gospel because he was the last prophet before Jesus to have been killed by the Jews. Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, when he was born, under the inspiration of the spirit, proclaimed the benediction; “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel”. on John the Baptist. His wife, Elizabeth, also was described as being inspired by the spirit. Others are Simeon, the prophetess Anna, and John the Baptist. Those prophets are conceived by the New Testament as the termination of Old Testament prophecy, a concept also expressed by Jesus with reference to John the Baptist.

EARLY PROPHETS

The New Testament mentions several prophetic figures in the early Church. Among them are Agabus of Jerusalem; Judas Barsabbas and Silas, who also were elders of the Jerusalem church; the four prophesying daughters of Philip the Evangelist; and John, the author of Revelation.

The term prophet is used with reference to an office in the early church along with evangelists and teachers, and the recipient of the letter bearing his name, Timothy, is called both a minister and a prophet. The prophet’s role in the early church was to reveal divine mysteries and God’s plan of salvation. Paul the Apostle instructed his followers in the correct use of prophecy and evaluated it as more beneficial to the life of congregations than ecstatic glossolalia (speaking in tongues). He considered prophecy to be the greatest spiritual gift from God, and in his view a prophet therefore ranks ahead of evangelists and teachers.

WILLIAM BRANHAM A PROPHET OF OLD OR NEW TESTAMENT?

There are a lot of misconceptions and doctrines concerning the specific work God raised this humble servant of his from Jeffersonville, Indiana, USA for and still on-going in End-time message circles.

For me I only have to read a couple of WILLIAM MARRION BRANHAM’s SPOKEN WORD sermon books to be able to recognize the message this Prophet- Messenger brought to us in this 20th/21st century. The message is no other than; BACK TO THE ABSOLUTE, THE BIBLE, THE WORD, THE LOGOS, (John1:1)

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. (Mal 4:5-6)

Elijah was a (or prophet master) and a prophet priest. Much of his prophetic career was directed against the Tyrian Baal cult, which had become popular in the northern kingdom (Israel) during the reign (mid-9th century BCE) of King Ahab and his Tyrian queen, Jezebel. Elijah’s struggle against that cult indicated a religio-political awareness, on his part, of the danger to Yahweh worship in Israel namely, that Baal of Tyre might replace Yahweh as the main god of Israel.

So was William Branham’s message strongly against the religious system of our day especially organized religion and Jezebels of our day. (Mathew 17:10)

In this End-time, a lot keep saying if there is a message there ought to be a messenger. However, Who sent the messenger? And What is his message? This is where it gets so confusing. Some regard William Branham as the LORD BRANHAM CHRIST, others too as the Final Authority of the Word. They consider all his utterances to be inspired and never take the trouble to scrutinize it with the Scriptures; Holy Bible. Yet others as a great prophet who didn’t make mistake whatsoever. What do you think?

Your revelation of the mission of this 20TH century prophet would determine whether you have trimmed your Lamp and getting enough light that would carry you to the end of the race set before you or you are following the crowd blindly and dancing to false doctrines and revelations which would eventually land you in the Great Tribulation?

Consider this carefully.

Shalom!

ARE YOU PART OF THE VINE?

Ezekiel 15:2

Son of man, what is the Vine tree more than any tree, or than a Branch which is among the trees of the forest?

The Vine, as described by Ezekiel, symbolizes unregenerate man in general and sinful Israel in particular. Just as the Vine wood is tough, twisted unworkable and fit only for fuel, so Israel recalcitrant in sin is fit only for judgement.

Whereas in Chapter 15 (and in Isaiah 5 also) the Vine pictures only judgement.

In John 15 Christ uses it to portrays the living union between Himself and the believer. Here the intrinsic worthlessness of the wood is wholly subordinated to a single positive function of the Vine that is of bearing fruit. Thus, our Lord takes the figure of the Vine wood, representative in Ezekiel of humanity ruined in sin, and transforms it into the parable of Himself as the Vine and Christians as his Branches, bearing fruit for Him.

Here in John 15, Jesus is speaking in the first person in addressing his disciples.

It would also be representative of his church which would later be built upon Jesus Christ, Jesus is presented as explaining the relationship between Himself and his followers – seeking to model this relationship on his own relationship with his Father. (John 1:1)

The Branches will draw the sap from the Vine and produce the fruits.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. (John 15:2).

The question we need to ask ourselves is; are we bearing fruits unto righteousness? This should not be a guess work. It is certainly an assurance of Salvation.

The chapter introduces the extended metaphor of Christ as the True Vine. The Father is the Husbandman.[4] His disciples are said to be branches specifically meaning Vine Branches) [5] which must ‘abide’ in him if they are to ‘bear fruit’. The disciples are warned that barren branches are pruned by the Vinedresser:  Every branch that does bear fruit is pruned so that it will bear more fruit – not barren branches. (John 15:2-6)

  • Establishing a proper relationship with our Lord and Saviour
  • Living before the Lord every moment of our lives
  • Reading and digesting His Word

In so doing above can we be watered by the holy Spirit and bear fruits unto Eternal Life.

Lastly, we can see a close relationship of Jesus and his disciples (‘abiding’) to that of Himself and his Father. Disciples are reminded of the love of the Father and the Son – the love of the Son for the disciples, and then indicted to ‘love one another’ in the same manner. Verse 13 speaks of the ‘greater love’ as being the willingness to ‘lay down’ one’s life for friends, death on Calvary’s cross.

Friends it is only by abiding in the True Vine that we can bear fruits unto righteousness.

WHAT IS ETERNAL LIFE?

There is a true God, the creator of Heaven and Earth and his undying Love for mankind that he gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ to be the propitiation of sins that whoever believes in him will not perish but have Eternal life.

Eternity and the related concept of infinity have long been associated with strong emotional overtones, serving to astonish, weary, or confound those who attempt to grasp them.

Eternity, timelessness, or the state of that which is held to have neither beginning nor end.

The first Adam, forfeited that life when he lost his way to the tree of life in the garden of Eden. The Lord Jesus Christ the last Adam came proclaiming; I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Whosoever understands the Lord Jesus Christ understands life.

There is a true God, the creator of Heaven and Earth and his undying Love for mankind that he gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ to be the propitiation of sins that whoever believes in him will not perish but have Eternal life.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.  (1 John 5:11)

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. (John 5:39)

 Revelation 22:19

WHAT MUST I DO TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE?

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

This life is called “eternal” because it is from the eternity which is past to the eternity which is to come. It is the Life of God revealed in Jesus Christ who is God. (John 1:4, 5:26, 1 John 1:1-2)

This life of God which is revealed in Christ is imparted in a new birth by the Holy Spirit, acting upon the Word of God, to every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:3-15)

The Life that is imparted is a new life. It is “that which was from the beginning” The recipient is a new creation. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. (Galatians 6:15)

The life of God which is in the believer is an unreserved part of the life which eternally was, and eternally is, in Christ Jesus; one life in him and the believer; Vine and branches, Head and members.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (John 15:1-5)

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:17)

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also, is Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12)

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: (Col 1:27)

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. (Col 3:3-4)

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (1 John 5:11-12)

IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN THE SAME AS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

Kingdom of God, also called Kingdom of Heaven, in Christianity, the spiritual realm over which God reigns as king, or the fulfillment on Earth of God’s will. The phrase occurs frequently in the New Testament, primarily used by Jesus Christ in the first three Gospels. It is generally considered to be the central theme of Jesus’ teaching,

(Mathew 3:2) And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The expression the kingdom of heaven literally of the heavens refers to the rule of the heavens i.e. the rule of God of the heaven over the earth (Dan 2:44; 4:25, 32)

  • The kingdom of heaven exercises certain features of divine government. Thus, the kingdom of heaven includes only men on earth, excluding angels and other creatures.
  • The kingdom of heaven is the earthly sphere as those known as the Wheat and the Tares (Mathew 13:41)
  • It can also be compared to the net containing both the good and bad fish which would later be separated (Mathew 13:47)

In the gospel of Mathew, the kingdom of heaven is revealed in three distinct ways:

  • As “at hand” here it is offered in the person of the King (the Lord Jesus Christ) of whom John the Baptist is the forerunner (Mathew 3:1)
  • The kingdom of heaven can also be said to be fulfilled in this present age as presented in seven “mysteries” (Mathew 13). It reveals the character of the rule of heaven over the earth between the first and second comings of the Lord
  • The kingdom of heaven can also be fulfilled after the second coming of Christ. It would be realized in the future millennium as predicted by prophet Daniel (Dan 2:34-36, 44-45) and covenanted to David (2 Samuel 7:12-16, Zechariah 12:8).

This millennial form of the kingdom is wholly in the future and will be set up after the return of the King in glory (Mathew 24:29-25; Acts 15:14-17, Mathew 6:33)

(Mathew 6:33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

The expression the kingdom of God (Mathew 12:28) although used in many cases as synonymous with the kingdom of heaven is to be distinguished from it in some instances

  • The kingdom of God is at times viewed as everlasting and universal, the rule of the sovereign God over all creatures and things.

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. (Psalm 103:19)

How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. (Dan 4:3)

So the Kingdom of God includes the Kingdom of Heaven as well.

  • The kingdom of God is also used to designate the sphere of salvation entered only by the new birth.

Jesus answered, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”  (John 3:5-7)

In contrast with the kingdom of heaven as the sphere of profession which may be real or false, In other words Christendom as a whole (Mathew 13:3 Mathew 25:1 11-12)

  • The kingdom of God is realized in the rule of God in the present age and will also be fulfilled in the future millennial kingdom. It continues forever in the eternal state

How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. (Daniel 4:3)

A WAKE-UP CALL

What the world needs to see, when it looks at a Christian’s life, is not a reflection of itself but true beauty of her character, a certain godliness of heart and “a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price ” (1 Pet.3:3-5).

(Isaiah 51:17) Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.

It sounds clearer in this regime when man hears a preacher sounding a wake up call ..The call is going to all people , societies and individual personalities to wake up and to rise to their call . Many are consistently asleep, only to know that the days are evil. Jesus Christ is still in the calling business.

Not only is God’s Wake-Up Call a Gracious Call, but it is also a Demanding Call. God is not only in the asking business. He is in the telling mode. Have you found that out? Sometimes I see children who are not obedient. I see parents letting their children hit them and talk back to them. Do you know what those children need? An old fashion spanking right on their bottoms, that is what they need. You might say, “Oh, but my pediatrician says that is wrong.” Well, tell your pediatrician that he is wrong, because the Bible says that children should respect, honor and obey their parents.  Just as a parent has the right to tell his children what to do, God has the right to tell His people what to do.

Our newspapers are full of reports of women and girls being raped, beaten, and sometimes even murdered. The next time a man is brought before a court for outraging the modesty of a woman, it would be well to find out just how decently the woman was dressed, at the time the crime was committed. Some may dismiss this suggestion as irrelevant to the case.

What the world needs to see, when it looks at a Christian’s life, is not a reflection of itself but true beauty of her character, a certain godliness of heart and “a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price ” (1 Pet.3:3-5).

In this 21st century we have seen the emerging of diverse technological advancements fulfilling the prophetic word of God that knowledge shall increase. (Daniel 12:4) .

The society have seen diverse transformation in various forms of religion, culture and beliefs. Think about it. Where is all this emphasis on sex in clothing, hairdo and facial makeup leading you? Where is it leading your friends? If you are a young Christian woman in high school, university or out in the working world, you have a great responsibility in helping to reverse the trends in your respective environment.

IS HELL A PLACE OF FIERY TORMENT FOR THE WICKED FOREVER?

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. {hell: or, the grave} And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Rev 20: 13-15)

REGRET AND TORMENT IN HELL.

Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

The Greek word hades like its Hebrew equivalent Sheol is used in two principal ways;

  • To indicate in general the condition of all departed human spirits between death and resurrection. In the Old testament it is occasionally used. (cp Gen 37:35 Gen 42: 38 Gen 44: 29, 31)
  • To indicate the condition of the unsaved between death and the great white throne judgement (Rev 20:11-15,)

In Wikipedia, Gehenna or Gehinnom literally translated as valley of Hinnom is thought to be a small valley in Jerusalem. In the Hebrew bible Gehenna was initially where some of the kings of Judah sacrificed their children by fire. Thereafter it was deemed to be cursed (Jeremiah 7:31, 19:2-6)

Some have argued that there is no life beyond the grave as they interpret some scriptures as; Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. (Ecclesiastes 9:10)

In contrast Job testifies that man is appointed to wait after death wherein a change will definitely come for man( Job 14:7-14)

Luke (16: 23-24) shows the lost in hades are conscious possess, full use of their faculties, memories etc. and are in torment. This continues until the final judgement of the lost. (2 Peter 2:4, 2 Peter 2:9) when all the unsaved and hades itself will be cast into the lake of fire.

It should not lead anyone to think that there is a possibility of change from one state to the other after death. For in verse 23 shows that when the unsaved man was in hades saw Abraham and Lazarus, they were afar off and verse 26 states that between the two places there is a great gulf fixed so that no one can cross from one side to the other.

Whiles we are here on earth and have life, we have to make our calling and election sure so as when we fall dead or sleep in the Lord, we will find ourselves in the other dimension where our heart desires are, in the bosom of the Lord.

By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1Peter 3:19-20)

(Ephesian 4:8-10) indicates that there was a change in place of the departed believer at the resurrection of Christ. In other words that dimension called Hell was taken from the heart of the earth to a different location by Christ known as the third heavens.

Apostle Paul was taught “caught into the third heavens” (2 Corinth 12:1-2)

It is certain that all who are saved go at once into the presence of Christ ( 2corith 5:8 Philippians 1:23) Jesus told the pertinent thief “today thou shall be with me in paradise” ( Luke 23:43)

Paradise is a place of great joy and bliss, but this bliss in not complete until the spirit is re-united with a glorified body at the resurrection of the just. ( Corinth 15:51-54; 1 Thess. 4:16-17)

In conclusion, though both hades and sheol are sometimes translated “grave” (Gen 37:35) they never indicate a burial place but, rather the state of spirit after death. Hell is a temporal resting place of the soul which will be judged and not a place of fiery torment forever

Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:  ( Habakkuk 2:5)

God bless.

MYSTERY OF INIQUITY …Part two

This is perhaps the only reason our Heavenly Father could not look on His Only Begotten Son being crucified. It was because of the iniquity (that is, inequity) of One who had never sinned bearing the sins of many. “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity” (Hab.1:13).

(2 Thessalonians 2:2,3,7) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.  2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

There are a lot of things that offend in the religious mainstream which the lord is unfolding and in these last days many will wonder. Our Lord hates things that offend. The hearts and secrecy of men will be made known and judged. Many who have clothed themselves under the work of the cross and doing so much evil in hypocrisy and under feigned words and pretentions to bring deception upon their hearers will all be opened up.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all that offend (skandalon), and them which do iniquity (anomia; transgression of the law); And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.(Matthew 13:41-42):

God hates iniquity above all sin committed. He does not endure iniquity – “…I cannot away with; it is iniquity…” (Isaiah.1:13).

Many Christians presume to do God’s will when it is not God’s will. What they presume to do is not only a lie, it is unjust with God, it makes God a liar

The mystery of iniquity is that men put their will above the will of God, their wisdom against the wisdom of God. Religious people may think themselves so righteous and holy that they are without reproach in their life. “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1John 1:8 cf. 1Cor.3:18).

Such confession is not only a lie, it is unjust with God, it makes God’s Word a lie.

“Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. (1John 5:21) “Your love for a man-made church system and traditional doctrines are two examples. Remember, deception is iniquity, even when one deceives his own self. Was not the Apostle Paul such a man before he was converted? The reasons he persecuted the church and tried to destroy it are;

  • He was full of himself being a member of the “great” Pharisaical sect
  •  He was “advanced in Judaism beyond many of his contemporaries in his own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of his fathers” (Gal.1:14).

WHAT WAS THE ARK OF THE TESTIMONY? IT’S MEANING AND SIGNIFICANCE?

In all its details the tabernacle speaks mainly about Christ. The Ark in its materials, Acacia wood and Gold is a type of the Humanity and Deity of Christ

ARK OF TESTIMONY.

The tabernacle of Moses shows the beginning of The Lord God coming to dwell in something tangible.

Upon Mount Sinai, the mountain of God, The Lord God meets with the Prophet Moses to give him the Law and the pattern of tabernacle and That began the process of building a tabernacle where God could manifest his Shekinah glory to man.

And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. (Exodus 25: 8-9)

That is the evidence of God’s plan of coming to dwell with his people. Although this tabernacle was made with hands, God himself had designed it to show forth his divine plan of dwelling in a tabernacle in the midst of a people.

The tabernacle, speaking comprehensibly as explained in the New Testament typifies;

  • The church as a habitation of God through the Spirit. The whole church is the temple and tabernacle of God.

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. ( Ephesians 2:19-22)

  • The believer,

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. ( 2Corithnians 6:16)

  • The tabernacle also depicts figures of things in heaven

It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with handswhich are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: ( Hebrews 9:23-24)

In all its details the tabernacle speaks mainly about Christ. The Ark in its materials, Acacia wood and Gold is a type of the Humanity and Deity of Christ

( Exodus 26:15) And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.

The contents of the ark is Christ as having God’s law in his heart ( Exodus 25:16) (1 Kings 8:9) and for a time the golden pot containing manna, the wilderness food (or portion) for his people ( Exodus 16:33) And Aaron’s rod that budded is a symbol of the resurrection of Christ. ( Numbers 17:10) (Hebrews 9:4) . All these symbolizes Christ as the Ark of safety in the covenant of Grace. Whoever gets in would be sheltered from the wrath of God which is to be poured on sin. In Christ was the Law made perfect. He was the Logos who provided the Law and fulfilled it.

In its use the Ark, especially the Mercy Seat is a type of God’s throne ( Exodus 25:22). That it was to the sinning Israelites, a throne of grace and not of judgement was due to the Mercy Seat formed of gold and sprinkled with the blood of atonement which vindicated the Law and divine holiness guarded by the cherubim’s ( Gen 3:24) (Ezekiel 1:5) (Roman 3:25).

The shewbread is a type of Christ the Bread of life, nourisher of the Christian’s life as a believer- priest (1 Peter 2:9) (Rev 1:6) In (John 6:33-58) Our Lord has more in mind, the manna that food which came down from heaven. The manna is the life giving Christ, the showbread, the life sustaining Christ. The showbread typifies Christ as the corn of wheat (John 12:24) ground in the mill of suffering (John 12:27) and brought into from of judgement (John 12:31-33) .We as priest by faith feed upon him as having undergone that in our stead and for our sakes. we are fed by meditation upon Christ (Hebrews 12:2-3)

Also the Candlestick is type of Christ our light (John 1:4 8:12 9:12) shining in fulness of power of sevenfold Spirit (Isaiah 11:2) ( Hebrew 1:9) (Rev 1:4)

The Ark was behind the second curtain in a room called THE MOST HOLY PLACE with the altar of incense. When Christ died on Calvary that curtain or veil was torn into two meaning the believer now has access into the holy of holies by the death of Christ. The flesh of Jesus was the veil. Jesus as the ark of the testament housed the shekinah Glory of God. ( Hebrews 8:1-2, 5-6)

SHALOM!

ARE THE MESSAGE BOOKS OF WILLIAM BRANHAM , THE CHRIST ….?

We cannot point to no other person than Christ Jesus who is the Absolute Word of God in its fullness. Christ is the full Word of God. He is the revealed WORD , the very revelation that God had manifested in Christ Jesus.

( 2 Peter 1:19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Many believers around the globe are steadfastly waiting and looking unto the taking away of the elect of GOD and believing what they have been holding on to will come to pass as they have been believing . The LORD God almighty undoubtedly will come for a virgin bride who is without spot or blemish adorned with the DOCTRINE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Friend , there is only one person who is the absolute Authority , who is the full and infallible word ,and who is the Urim and Thummim . And He is none other than the almighty God who manifested himself in the flesh called JESUS THE CHRIST.

When some message believers ascribe the MESSAGE BOOKS of William Marrion Braham as being the CHRIST . They ignorantly or equally confessing that William Braham is the Christ . Because William Braham made a statement, : “You cannot separate the message from the messenger “

Prophets are only part of the Word but Jesus Christ is the full Word of God .

We cannot point to no other person than Christ Jesus who is the Absolute Word of God in its fullness. Christ is the full Word of God. He is the revealed WORD , the very revelation that God had manifested in Christ Jesus.

Bro Braham in his tapes only pointed to the CHRIST, the  full word of God . He was not the Christ. As seen with the first foruner (John the Baptist ), Braham cannot be the Christ but rather pointed to the Christ of this bible , hence the message books are not the Christ.

Go into the wisdom of the sacred scriptures and allow the DAYSTAR arise in your hearts .

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).

Apostle Paul has this to say ,” For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away”. (1 Corinthians 13:9-10)

It is clear that the Perfect is yet to come .The perfect is CHRIST our LORD. Is not about laying in the message but laying the  word of God . It is only in that, one can meet  CHRIST,  THE FULLNESS OF THE WORD OF GOD.

Shalom!
